Some on-site activities you could do
The Kooranowa Camp is located 10km past Yass NSW along Hume Highway on Common Road just past the village of Bowning.

  The campsite is available to the scouting groups for a fee and offers:

  • A small creek runs through the site
  • campfire areas are available during the winter months
  • Indoor accom (30 floor).  Outdoor camping (150).  Dining shelter for 40.
  • Developed Site, Drinking Water, Pack Holiday Facility, Showers, Toilets.
  • Bushwalking, navigation and construction activities are available
  • You can cycle from McDonalds in Yass down the black Range Road to the Scout Camp or walk it as it is part of the Hume & Hovel Walking track.
  • Water Activities are available nearby at the Yass River or Burrinjuck Dam
